Representing the Interests of Medicaid through Advocacy
Pending to update two broken links at the bottom of the page.
In the below video, watch MHPA President & CEO Craig A. Kennedy, MPH, speak about what managed care organizations are doing to help Medicaid beneficiaries and to address both the immediate & long-term needs for a growing number of enrollees into the Medicaid program during the COVID health care crisis.
MHPA works with both the Administration and Congress to advance the issues of Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) and the patients they serve. Medicaid provides insurance coverage to more than 71 million people across the country, with more than 70% in MCOs. MHPA, the only trade association that represents Medicaid managed care plans exclusively, is committed to being a resource to any and all involved in policy discussions impacting the Medicaid program.
